“Decades of The King” features award-winning Elvis Tribute Artists Cliff Wright and Radney Pennington both from Branson, MO, one of the entertainment capitals of the United States.  

Cliff Wright, the winner of numerous Elvis Tribute Artist Awards, is a self-taught musician who began his musical journey at the young age of 8, learning the guitar. Heavily influenced by many artists from the ‘50s-’70s, Cliff respected the influence Elvis created in the music world, especially through his gospel, and found himself gravitating toward Elvis’ rockabilly style of music and gospel.  He has had the honor of accompanying many musicians and backup singers who worked with Elvis. Cliff is the recipient of many Elvis and Johnny Cash Tribute recognitions, not to leave out his 5 years in the Tony Award-winning “Million Dollar Quartet” Musical production.

Radney Pennington, the winner of the Lone Star Elvis Festival in 2021 in Grapevine, Texas, has been paying tribute to Elvis for several years. He was the youngest “Elvis” to perform in the Tony Award-winning musical “Million Dollar Quartet”, and also one of the youngest ETA to headline Legends In Concert in Las Vegas.  Radney won second place in The Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest 2019 hosted yearly in August by Elvis Presley Enterprises in Memphis, Tennessee. Radney, a singer-songwriter, is the youngest person to record at Sun Studio in Memphis, having recorded there at age 5.

The incredible songs, the fantastic stories, and the history of a legend will come to life on the stage in Stardom Entertainment's production, "Elvis Gospel and Beyond 2022" in Downtown Lewisville, August 20, 2022 at the Lewisville Grand Theater, 7:30 pm.  The show features The Blackwood Quartet, Mark Blackwood, K. C. Shepperd, and Elvis Tribute Artist Kraig Parker. Kraig is backed by his incredible band, the Royal Tribute Band from DFW. 

The year was 1934. Brothers Roy, Doyle, and James Blackwood, along with Roy's son R.W., form the most beloved and respected gospel group of all time, The Blackwood Brothers Quartet. The quartet went on to be featured on several TV shows, including "Barbara Mandrell and the Mandrell Sisters," the beloved American classic "Hee Haw," and the prestigious "Arthur Godfrey Talent Show" in 1954. 

A few weeks later that same year, tragedy struck when two group members, R.W. Blackwood and Bill Lyles, were killed in a plane crash. After the accident, many fans and critics alike believed that the quartet would not go forth. However, as fate would have it, R.W.'s the youngest brother, Cecil Blackwood, joined the group along with the bass singer, J.D. Sumner, silencing any doubts the public had about the quartet continuing to be a force in gospel music.

Cecil Blackwood was a childhood friend of Elvis Presley, and the association between the two families was lifelong. They attended Sunday school together and formed their first gospel quartet called "The Songfellows" long before Elvis became the King of Rock n Roll. 

In 1958, Elvis sent a plane to North Carolina and brought the Blackwoods to sing at his mother's funeral. James Blackwood would sing "How Great Thou Art" at Elvis' Funeral.

Cecil Blackwood's son, Mark, joined his family in the Blackwood Brothers Quartet in 1986. He sang lead for many years alongside his dad, Cecil, and other talented singers. 

Today, Mark Blackwood fronts The Blackwood Quartet and continues his family's tradition and association with Elvis Presley. "Elvis Gospel and Beyond 2022," the group performs Presley's personal favorites, including "Amazing Grace," "You'll Never Walk Alone," and "Crying In The Chapel."

The Blackwood family has received nine Grammy Awards and is in the Grammy Hall of Fame, the Memphis Music Hall of Fame, the Nashville Music Hall of Fame, the Southern Gospel Music Hall of Fame, and many more!

Kraig Parker, an award-winning, world-class Elvis Tribute Artist from Dallas, Texas, has astonished audiences for over 20 years. Kraig has performed across America and Europe at casinos, performance halls, cruise ships, and major symphony orchestras, including headline shows in Las Vegas. Brendon Chase, originally from New Zealand, lives on the Gold Coast of Queensland.  Brendon has performed Elvis's tunes for over 20 years, winning many significant titles, including the Pristine 2021 Cooly Rocks Contest and the 2017 Parkes Contest making him one of Australia's very few two-time "Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist" winners. This result took Brendon to the Semi-Finals of the World Championship in Memphis, USA. Brendon is vastly experienced and has an extraordinary stage presence that makes you temporarily believe you might be watching the King himself! His favorite song is "You Gave Me A Mountain."

VICTOR TREVINO, JR. from Fort Worth, Texas, winner August 12, 2022, in Memphis, Tennessee, of EPE Graceland's Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Champion 2022. Victor wowed and charmed audiences nationwide and worldwide, including in Brazil, Australia, Europe, Norway, and the USA. He is a regular LEGENDS IN CONCERT performer, the longest-running show on the Las Vegas strip. Victor's love of Elvis Presley shows in his tribute to Elvis by creating the wildness and raw talent of one of the world's greatest entertainers, Elvis Presley. 

JOSEPH HALL, from Nebraska, has been paying tribute to the legacy of Elvis Presley since 2006. He starred on NBC's America's Got Talent in 2008, making 6 TV appearances, viewed by more than 90 million people, and as one of the top 10 finalists! Sharon Osbourne was impressed enough to tell him, "I've got shoes older than you, but I'd like to try you on!" Also, Piers Morgan was quoted saying, "ELVIS IS BACK!" Joseph Hall has performed worldwide and won accolades throughout his young career, including the "Spirit of Elvis" award. MOSES SNOW, the winner of the Images of The King Champion 2021, is from Haslet (Fort Worth), Texas. Moses is a one-of-a-kind Young Elvis Presley Tribute Artist (ETA). He started his journey in the Elvis music world at 13 and is considered by many to be the future of the Elvis Tribute World! Moses has entertained both nationally and internationally. With his swift moves and boyish charm, you will make you think you are genuinely watching Elvis in the early career of the 1950s. 

DAVID ALLEN, from Dallas, Texas, is dubbed the "Prince of Rock' n' Roll," David Allen has been performing his tribute to the "King of Rock' n' Roll," Elvis Presley, since 2000 and has been ranked in the Top Ten in the World by Elvis Presley Enterprises since 2011. David has a great passion and determination to enrich his tribute to Elvis so that he may provide top-notch performances for Elvis' fans. David has honed his craft of performing Elvis' 50's start-up career, his movie years, the '68 comeback special, and the Vegas concert years.

The nationally, internationally known doo-wop ladies' group, SHAKE RATTLE & ROLL, opens the show with a rock & roll fun, witty show plus backs each of the ETAs. Shake Rattle & Roll, winner of the Las Vegas Doo-Wop Contest, is a fun, talented Ladies' Group specializing in music from the 50s and 60s, which will have the audience rockin', rollin' & groovin' in their seats and aisles. Stardom Entertainment’s newest production, “Tupelo to Vegas,” takes you through a musical ride of the ‘Dynamic’ career of Elvis Aaron Presley. “Tupelo to Vegas” began in 1954 at Sun Records in Memphis, Tennessee, when Elvis recorded his first song for his mom, Gladys. It continues to the Louisiana Hayride 1954-1956 era, the rock’n’roll era of the late ’50s, and on to the movie years, 1956-1969, closing with the glitz and glamor of Las Vegas & Elvis on Tour years 1969-1977.

“Tupelo to Vegas” is re-created by the talents of 2018 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Champion, BEN THOMPSON, and 2021 Images of The King Champion, Moses Snow, backed by Fever The Band, with special guest, Shake Rattle & Roll.

Multi-award-winning Elvis Tribute Artist Ben Thompson from London, England, is one of the select few who can successfully recreate all the eras of Elvis.

Maintaining the authentic high, energetic performances and the charming charisma that Elvis was known for has led the 27-year-old to travel the world, keeping Elvis’ legacy alive. From winning the ‘Best 50’s Elvis’ in the UK in 2011 at just 17 years old to Branson Ultimate Elvis Contest Champion’ 2017’. Ben’s performances are genuinely respectful and authentic, representing such a name as Elvis Presley. He was crowned Graceland’s Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Champion in 2018.

He has performed with Elvis’ original backup singers on 30 occasions, allowing Ben to experience one of his dreams. He also starred as Elvis Presley in the blockbuster film ‘Bladerunner 2049’ alongside Harrison Ford.
