Witness the incredible music and stories of Elvis Presley brought to life by The Fabulous Blackwood Quartet, Moses Snow, David Allen, and Fever the Band at the Cultural Activities Center in Temple, Texas, on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at 3:00 p.m.

Featuring:

-The Fabulous Blackwood Quartet is a renowned gospel group from Knoxville, Tennessee, with a lifelong connection to Elvis Presley. Tracing its roots back to 1934, the Fabulous Blackwood Quartet boasts a rich history and reputation as one of the most respected gospel groups ever. The original Blackwood Brothers Quartet, featuring brothers Roy, Doyle, James Blackwood, and Roy’s son R.W., made a mark in the music industry, appearing on several TV shows, including The Barbara Mandrell and the Mandrell Sisters, Hee Haw, and the prestigious Arthur Godfrey Talent Show in 1954.

Tragedy hit the group later that year when R.W. Blackwood and Bill Lyles died in a plane crash. However, the quartet bounced back, with R.W.’s youngest brother, Cecil Blackwood, and bass singer J.D. Sumner, stepping in. This resilience proved to critics and fans alike that the Blackwood name would continue to resonate in gospel music.

They were Elvis Presley's favorite gospel quartet, and he would attend their all-night singings in Memphis. Experience Elvis's favorite gospel songs, including "Amazing Grace," "You'll Never Walk Alone," and "Crying in The Chapel."

- Moses Snow: Award-winning Elvis Tribute Artist - winner of the Penticton Elvis Festival Champion 2024, earning a position in the Elvis Presley Enterprises Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest 2024 in Memphis, Tennessee - during Elvis Week in August 2024.  Experience Moses Snow's captivating performance, channeling the erly years (’50s & ‘60s) spirit of the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley. 

- David Allen: Award-winning Elvis Tribute Artist for 20+ years channels the later years of Elvis Presley, serving as both the Host/Performer of the production.

- Fever the Band: A world-renowned tribute band from the DFW area backing both Elvis Tribute artists Moses Snow and David Allen.
